Which School Has Friendlier Students – Sarah Lawrence College Or Boston University?

February 27th, 2010 at 01:20am Under School & Education

I’ve narrowed my choices down to these two and have finished reading thousands of reviews online and in books from former students themselves.
I’ve got the academics down, but can any current students/alumni/etc. please tell me which school has the best people? People who actually smile when you say hello and who make your college experience much more enjoyable?
I realize you’ll find snotty/aloof/bitchy people regardless where you’ll go, but in all honesty, some places tend to house them more than others.

The College I Am Attending Doesn’t Have That Great Of Reviews….but How Can I Make The Best Of It?

February 21st, 2010 at 12:19am Under School & Education

so listen to your teachers – and read more that you are suppose to – find a college with excellent review – get hold of their reading schedule – who theyll be discussing and such – and research and educate your mind a little more that way
you always have the option if you cant afford it now to save up after you graduate and take an imortant course at another college – just for credentials -

Does What High School You Attending Matter When It Comes To Applying For College?

February 20th, 2010 at 12:00am Under School & Education

The reason I ask for such a question is because when I look up high school reviews, at some good schools I can often find their information on what colleges their students get into, while others don’t even mention it at all. So, does it mean you have to be in a good famous high school in order to get into a good college or famous college? Will there be high chances for students in good high schools or it doesn’t really matter?
Thanks in advance.

What College Do You Go To And Why Do You Like/dislike It?

February 15th, 2010 at 12:02am Under School & Education

I’m trying DESPERATELY to figure out where to go to college next year but i keep getting so discouraged because of peoples reviews and what not but i figure it’s better to hear it from people who actually attend them than paid off tour guides.
So, where do you go to college and what are some good/bad reasons for going there? Also, what is the social life, diversity, and surronding neighborhood like?

Are Athletics Truly Important When Seeking College Attention And/or Scholarships?

February 14th, 2010 at 12:00am Under School & Education

I am about to be a junior in high school, and I am not very athletic. My question is this: are athletics really as needed and/or important when applying for a college or scholarships?
P.S. I am considering wrestling, good idea?
