Overcome Your Fears If you have come to believe that the path to success lies in the leaders ability to be fearless, than you have misled yourself. Fearless is like a unicorn in that it is utterly imaginary! One must only be capable of finding a way to face and conquer fear. This gives an individual the capability of assuming risk and taking chances. Take Educated Chances Comfort is the enemy of success. And by comfort, I do not mean ‘worldly’ comfort. I’m not speaking about your sofa, or your cable television, or your ability to eat, etc. What I mean is that most individuals in the world do not achieve what they wish to achieve. Goals and dreams are often given up for a meager wage and the false security of a guaranteed paycheck a couple of times a month. The leader must be willing to chance and sacrifice if he wishes to become acquainted with his purpose and accumulate riches! Do Not Rely On A Solitary Income Multiple streams of income cannot be stressed enough! Think of the man who works for the menial wage and the guaranteed paycheck. What happens to him when he is laid off? You must set the goal to achieve more than one source of income. This way should one well dry up, you are not having to go without as you seek a means to supplement your lost income. Acknowledge Your Weaknesses A man is only as strong as his weakest point. Knowing that you have weaknesses is not acknowledging that you are weak. It is, however, affording you the opportunity to make the appropriate changes or adjustments and will allow you the ability to be constantly improving yourself. There is no stopping the man who is constantly testing himself, advancing, and who is not afraid of change! Realize That You Need Others In Order To Succeed Regardless of what you might have come to believe, one cannot accomplish everything alone. This is the reason networking and mastermind groups are such powerful tools. These things give us the power of infinite knowledge, experience, purpose, and all of the tools which we need to succeed. No one individual knows all or has all. Incorporating this into your plan for success will play a large role in ensuring that those plans come to fruition. C.J.
