If we could rid ourselves of the unending mind chatter, we could focus on each moment and the task at hand. Our personal power would be greater, our actions “cleaner” and our reality more pleasing. Life is coming at us so fast these days; it often takes all our attention and energy just to get through our waking hours. As a result we may find ourselves taking rote or unaware actions just to get through the massive amount of tasks we have planned. It’s a warrior’s challenge to teach ourselves how to put our attention on each and every task we do, and make sure each action we take is executed with our full awareness.
Coaching individuals to help them achieve their goals and be a guide in the process is a well established concept these days. Integrating environmentally sensitive activities, behaviors and actions adds a new dimensions. Find out what this means. Crazy ideas can sometimes teach us something new and valuable, as you can see from the “thousand mile hole” and the “deniaphant.” Sometimes it is just fun to create and share crazy ideas. For example, I recently read about one man’s idea to give away free gas. The catch was that there were remote-controlled paintball guns with cameras on them, connected to a web site on the internet. People would pay to fire paintballs at drivers as they filled their tanks. Apparently this gentleman even went as far as to ask city officials if they would allow such a business. They wouldn’t, but it was worth a good laugh in any case.
There are natural remedies for pain. Here is one of them. I have a pain in my brain, it seems, near my left temple. The pain surfaced last night as my Labor and Delivery unit got busier and busier. I started out the night with a headache which my nursing colleague soothed away with the Mechano treatment I teach. She does a superb job. The pain in my brain keeps surfacing and I think about everything it could be. An atypical migraine, perhaps? A lingering pain from the earlier headache? A brain aneurysm? A brain tumor?
